Jolene is a proven leader in the communications industry having established several communications departments where she developed and implemented guidelines and streamlined processes. 

 

Her communications expertise has guided leaders in several fields to include public safety, government, education and the private sector. 

 

Jolene has worked at WSB-TV in Atlanta where she was an Emmy Award winning journalist. She also served as a fill-in 
news anchor for medium to small television markets. Jolene transitioned from television to public relations/public information and has served as the official spokesperson and Public Information Officer for several public safety agencies including the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office and the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department where she worked with mayors, elected officials, and executive leadership.  

Ready to Serve

Jolene has won numerous awards for her work in communications and public information from both the National Association of County Information Officers and the International Association of Business Communicators. She uses her vast media background as well as her skills as a professional photographer to tackle projects that have lead to her winning such awards.

 

Jolene is active in several organizations including the Clark Atlanta University Mass Media Arts Alumni Society, The Clark Atlanta University Guild, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Kappa Omega chapter where she serves as Vice President.
